In order to meet the needs of new vehicle design and production, the company upgraded the existing BE22 platform in all aspects to build a new generation of high-end pure electric intelligent networking platform of BAIC New Energy. The upgraded BE22 platform products will be produced by Beijing High-end Intelligent Ecological Factory.

According to an insider of BAIC, the C-Class sedan we have cooperated with Huawei is scheduled to be unveiled in 2024. According to the announcement, in 2023, according to the needs of production and operation, BAIC New Energy plans to change the construction project of high-end intelligent ecological factory in Beijing. The construction site of the project will be relocated from Yizhuang Economic Development Zone to Miyun District, and the lessor of the factory will be adjusted from Yizhuang Shengyuan to Foton Motor. The construction method will be adjusted from new construction to acquisition of assets and technological transformation. BAIC New Energy leased the land, workshop and ancillary facilities of Miyun Factory, and purchased equipment assets to carry out key technical transformation on welding and painting production lines, forming an annual production capacity of 50,000 high-end new energy vehicles.

Cyrus and Chery have successively launched Huawei’s smart car selection model, and the brand names are all suffixed with the word "Jie" (although the Zhijie brand has not been officially announced, its first model, Zhijie S7, has been declared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). Zhidian Travel learned that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. applied for the "Tuojie" trademark in the Trademark Office on May 17, 2023, with the international classification number of 12, which stands for automobile. It is expected to become the brand name of Huawei’s smart car selection model launched by BAIC in the future.

Huawei’s smart car selection model has been widely recognized in the industry, and more car companies will cooperate with it in the future. Some insiders believe that BYD, a leading domestic new energy vehicle company, has incomparable advantages in the three-electric technology, but there is still a big gap with Tesla, Weilai, Tucki and other brands in the smart cockpit.
